We would like to inform you that the Metro District is currently planning to winterize the Non-Potable Water system on or about November 1st. We are in the process of confirming this date. A follow-up email will be sent to the community once a date(s) is finalized.
It is essential that all residential ball valves remain in the open position prior to and during the winterization process. They should stay open until the day following the blowout date.
To prevent any water from freezing in the meters, all homeowners' systems will be blown out simultaneously with the Metro District system.
After the blowout has been completed, homeowners should close their ball valves. Following this, you may verify your system’s integrity by using the blow-out port located within your irrigation box.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at info@prairiesongmd.live or call 970-612-8315.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely, Prairie Song Metro District
